Q: What’s our sound?

A: Otis found the only original tape of Dilla producing for Aaliyah, bit everything they did on it, then destroyed it so there is no evidence.
A: On tape, think if Erykah Badu covered Late Registration. Live, its Sade purring over a marching band.
A: Someone else's heartbeat when they give you a hug.

Q: What instruments do we play?

A: Milo plays poetry & loop machines. Otis plays imagination and bass.

Q: What else do we do?

A: When not engaged in creating music, Milo & Otis are usually sleeping or eating.
A: Otis trains bulldogs. Milo is a lawyer.
A: Other than street racing and counting cards, M&O aren't really up to that much.

Q: Where we from?

A: Chicago, Ill Noise
A. Humble Park, Southside Shy

Q: Have we done anything worth knowing us for? (yet?)

A: Milo occasionally performs poetry under the moniker "Jamila Woods" (weird, right?)
A: Otis graduated from Harvard at 16 but felt awkward about his young age, so re-enrolled at Brown as if nothing had happened, where he met Milo. They decided to wait 5 years to make music because, what the fuck do kids know about music? Patience is a virtue apparently.

Q:What’s so UNIQUE about us? There are a million dope adventure-soul bands out there, Why Us?

A: Milo is the lovechild of Erykah Badu and Ani Difranco. We don't see them much.
A: Otis does every song in one take, playing every instrument.
A: Most bands play all of parts that they intend listeners to hear on their record. M&O only record half of what they write, and expect their fans to recreate the hidden parts in their heads.

Q: If I were to attend a show, what would I experience?

A: You might marvel at how such massive sound could possibly come from such skinny people. Fans also claim to experience what they call “feelings” and often describe said “feelings” as intense, visceral, and chest-quaking.
A: A road trip for your mind, a whizzing subway car for your heart, and sometimes even a party limo for your tuckus.

Q: Any last words?

A: Pinch yourself, M&O are the real thing.
